Teachers Training Teachers

Applied Scholastics educators have held seminars throughout the world, from Mexico to Egypt from Thailand to the Dominican Republic. Hundreds of thousands of teachers have attended these seminars, where teachers are taught by teachers - not a "know-it-all" outsider.

The seminars focus on hands-on instruction in L. Ron Hubbard's revolutionary Study Technology, and the process is simple. Teachers first learn the basics of Study Technology, so they gain a basic understanding of it and an ability to apply it to their own study. With a more intimate knowledge of the subject of effective education, the teachers then learn how to educate others more effectively with Study Technology. Applied Scholastics seminars have also included instruction in classroom management, communication, public speaking and other skills that are vital in educational fields.

In the United States Caroline Kyhl Ph.D., employs Study Technology in all of her teacher training activities, from the lectures she gives to budding math teachers to the traveling workshops and seminars she delivers on the Basic Study Manual Course itself.

Over 5000 Chinese teachers have been trained to use the Study Technology to more effectively teach English.

Teachers and educators in Mexico attending a seminar on Study Technology were able to pass their newfound knowledge on to their students.

Study Technology seminars have been regularly delivered in Mysore India.

Officials of the Dominican Republic looking for a way to improve literacy levels in their country, invited Applied Scholastics to deliver Study Technology through on-site workshops.

Over 1800 educators from every corner of the Dominican Republic have done the Basic Study Manual course and they are now using Study Technology to educate children throughout the country.

Pakistan, Applied Scholastics representatives trained more than 4,000 teachers and students through seminars and lectures. Recent Applied Scholastics programs in Pakistan have included lectures and a special program for members of an organization that teaches young people in the Afghan refugee camps.

Teachers of the Ability Plus School of California delivered a Study Technology workshop to over 140 educators from the Ministry of Education and the schools of Bangkok, Thailand.
