Teacher Resources
Applied Scholastics was started in 1972 by a group of teachers who were looking for solutions to some of the same issues that affect our educational systems today. Such issues as helping at-risk and learning disabled students meet educational standards while at the same time, and often in the same classroom, stimulating a desire for learning in underachievers. These professional educators found the solution to these issues in Study Technology, an educational methodology developed by author and educator L. Ron Hubbard.
This technology is at the core of Applied Scholastics and now, as then, where Applied Scholastics programs are implemented, literacy rates routinely improve by 25 to 35 percent. Likewise, student test scores improve dramatically with students routinely meeting or exceeding grade level expectations in every academic subject.
No matter the curriculum in your current academic setting, Study Technology offers proven teaching strategies and resources that can help resolve classroom issues and improve student achievement. It can be easily incorporated into any set of instruction or curriculum design because it provides an essential underpinning that enhances all educational efforts by focusing on how students learn.
